Players In?
Mile Jedinak: The sort of player that Stoke have been missing since the departure of Steven Nzonzi. A defensive midfielder from Crystal Palace, from what we’ve heard, we’d be very surprised if Jedinak isn’t shown holding a Stoke City shirt by the end of the day.
Alexandre Pato: A link that took most Stoke fans by surprise, and would fit in very well with Arnautovic, Bojan and Shaqiri behind him. We’ve heard today though that Pato has snubbed the Premier League for a return to Sao Paulo on a permanant deal.
Steven Naismith: A potential switch from Everton on the cards, a rumour that has only started doing the rounds on deadline day. A rumour that is gaining momentum though, this deal could go either way, and would depend on the departure of Walters.
Sergi Roberto: The latest rumour we are hearing is that Naismith and Jedinak are both smokescreens for this man, the Barca player that just won’t go away. Strong rumours coming out that Roberto is signing for the Potters on a season long loan deal, with a view to a permanant deal at the end of it, a deal similar to Deulofeu at Everton.
