Stoke forward Jonathan Walters is a man who is currently wanted by a host of Premier League clubs. The Irish striker feels that he is worthy of a 3 year contract, which Stoke are not willing to offer. Previous bids by Norwich or £1.5 million and £2 million have both been rejected by the Staffordshire club already.
The latest news coming out of Stoke however is that Leicester are interested in signing the forward, and have already made an approach. Whether the bid is acceptable enough for Mark Hughes is yet to be seen, however the Stoke boss has already said that he’d rather lose Walters for nothing in the summer when his contract expires.
