As we draw in to the final 2 hours of transfer deadline day, Stoke find themselves strongly linked with Swansea striker Michu. After getting a strike rate of a goal every 2 games in his first season in Wales, he was one of the most in demand strikers in the Premier League.
Fast forward 2 seasons, and after an unsuccessful second album at Swansea, and a pretty dismal loan spell at Napoli, Michu has seemingly become the forgotten man in football. Mark Hughes is seemingly willing to give the striker a second chance though, as rumours that he is at Clayton Wood signing a contract are surfacing. Odds wise, he has dropped from 33/1 to 1/7 in the last 30 minutes. Only time will tell whether this one comes off.
