Tony Pulis has moved to sign the powerful striker from Championship rivals Southampton, and Fuller is expected to make his Potters debut at Barnsley a week on Saturday.
The 6ft3 striker will bolster a strike force who have only mustered 3 goals so far this season.
Fuller has an excellent strike record at Championship level. In 57 appearances for Preston, he scored 27 goals, and also notched 6 goals in 6 games towards the end of last season for Southampton.

Tony Pulis has revealed he hopes to sign at least one more player before the transfer window shuts later today until January.

Keep checking back for all the Potters news you need.

  • good signing for you guys, i think he will help you quite alot and good luck throught he rest of the season!

  • He does indeed look just what we need (if his knees hold up) and we now have a half decent forward line. Trouble is, who the hell’s going to get the ball up to them? i.e. TP completely forgot to sign any decent midfielders to bolster the very far from half decent midfield line up we currently have.

  • Another former Pompey striker for you eh?
He’ll get you a few goals, but for a big lad he goes down rather easily (think Heskey…).
P.S. How is Vincent doing up front for you guys so far?

  • All our players are ex Pompey it seems sometimes ! Seen the banner now – and yes, a couple of outstanding points of visual interest on there – far better than all those ex players (or should be “ex” in some cases)!

  • Tierney – obviously you don’t know he scored 7 goals in April for Southampton and 2 for Ipswich in Feb/March? Its not a bad recent record.
