Stoke striker James Beattie looks to be heading for the exit door according to the News of the World with West Brom looking to be his most likely destination.
It`s more of a matter of time before the former Everton forward leaves the Brit and he will favour a move to a Premier League club. A bid of around £2million has been mentioned and this is in the range that the Potters will demand.
Beattie has scored 9 goals in 38 games for the club and it is debatable whether we would still be a top flight club without Beattie`s excellent end to the 08/09 season.
Stoke are looking to offload Beattie so to make way for players of higher quality with the likes of Carlton Cole and Roman Pavlyuchenko linked.
