Wayne is back at the Brit

Wayne Thomas is training with the Potters after being released by Southampton.

The former Potter, who left in 2005 for the bright lights of Burnley followed by three seasons on the south coast, is now 31 years old and still lives in the North West.

It’s not that unusual for ex-players to ask to spend the pre-season with one of their former clubs with the aim of keeping fit whilst they hunt for another club to ply their trade, but there’s no chance of Thomas making his professional comeback at the Brit.
