Tuncay may be fit for Burnley

Stoke forward Tuncay still has an outside chance of being fit for the trip to Burnley tomorrow.

The Turkish captain was forced off just before half-time on Tuesday against Fulham after a brilliant 41 minutes due to a Hamstring injury. Fears were that the 27 year-old could miss up to 3-4 weeks but it now appears that the injury wasn`t as bad as first thought.

Tony Pulis said earlier to the official site “Tuncay`s injury isnt as bad as we thought it was initially”. “He has been fantastic for us recently alongside Mama upfront”.

It would be an added boost if Tuncay was fit but I would expect Ricardo Fuller to play alongside Mama, just to give him more time to fully recover. Fuller on form is just as influential as Tuncay and hopefully he can kick-star his season tomorrow.
