Stoke City’s Thomas Sorensen is confident that he’ll be fit to play his part for Denmark in next month’s World Cup.

Tommo will be only the third Stoke player to play in the World Cup whilst at the Potters but his hopes were nearly dashed after dislocating his elbow during the Chelsea match last month. He now believes that he’s well on the mend and will be ready to travel to South Africa and says that he would pleased if they’re up against England in the semi-finals stages.

Whilst the rest of his club teammates are sunning themselves on their holidays, the Danes will be starting their campaign with a match against Holland in Johannesburg on the 14th June, followed by matches against the Cameroon and Japan.
