Stoke City didn`t enjoy the ideal preparation for their league encounter with Newcastle United.
The Stoke City squad travelled up north to St. James` Park yesterday afternoon (9th March) but did not get to their destination until 11.30 at night.
The coach, which was transporting the team, broke down en route to the team`s hotel.
Marc Wilson tweeted: “On route to Newcastle and the coach has only broke down.”
The Potters haven`t enjoyed their travels this season, only picking up one victory all campaign
Accompanied with the worst Premier League record this year, picking up only one victory in 2013, this setback in their preparations for this important fixture couldn`t have been any worse.
Only time will see if the Potters can take the setback in their stride and maybe breakdown the Newcastle defence and improve on their woeful away record.
