Ryan Shawcross has beaten everyone to the award for the Championship player of the month.
The tall defender, who’s on loan from Man United, has proven to be the surprise package of the season so far with three goals to his name during October alone. He should have increased his tally during Saturday’s match against Coventry, but was beaten by the officials and the Powerade award should at least soften the blow.
Congrats to Ryan, he’s obviously destined for a bright future.
