Just showing how much we are missing him at the moment, Sam Bangoura scored a typical opportunist goal for Guinea against South Africa at the African Cup of Nations in Egypt on Sunday.

He came on as a substitute in the 70th minute and instantly revitalised a very poor game with some great moves that ended in a goal five minutes later. Guinea went on to win the game 2-0.

Much as it pleases me to see him doing so well, it means that he has probably got Guinea into a great position to go through to the knock out stages, which will delay his return to the Potteries where we are desperate to get him back into our forward line as soon as possible.
