Ref Watch: Pawson to officiate Watford v Stoke City

Craig Pawson has been named as the man in the middle when Stoke visit Quique Flores`s Watford to the Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The Sheffield and Hallamshire county F.A. referee was promoted to the Premier League select group of referee`s in 2013 and became FIFA listed in 2015.

Pawson`s biggest fixture to date is 2012 League Two play-off final between Cheltenham and Crewe.

The 36-year-old has been in charge of 21 fixtures so far this season, handing out 72 yellow cards and two red cards at an average of 3.5 cards per game.

The official has been in charge of Stoke once this season; their 0-0 draw at home against Arsenal. He handed out no cards during the game.

The South Yorkshire born Pawson has been in charge of Watford once this season; their 2-0 defeat against Southampton. He handed out three yellows over the fixture; two being handed out to Watford players.
