Imbula wins Chelsea Man of the Match poll

Gianelli Imbula has won the Vital Stoke man of the match award for his performance in the Potters 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The former Porto midfielder continued his rich vein of form since moving to Staffordshire from Portugal for a record £18.2 million.

The French midfielder went on a number of runs that are becoming a trademark, as he took on player after player, eating up the yards in the midfield and putting Stoke on the front foot a number of times.

The 23-year old receives 5 maximum Player of the season points after winning the poll with 48% of the vote, beating Xherdan Shaqiri (23%) who receives 3pts and Marko Arnautovic (6%) who receives 1pt.
