Stoke make the short trip to Tamworth for Tuesday’s replay looking to make amends after some inconsistent recent performances.

Whilst the national media are having another field day with the possibility of a ‘cup upset’ this week, its now down to eleven Stoke players to go and show everyone how you should dispose of lower league opposition in the FA Cup to prove them all wrong.
(Or did they mean Middlesbrough?)

There’s no doubt that the Potters can brush aside Conference strugglers Tamworth if they play to their capabilities, but as we all know the cup is an unpredictable competition and accidents can happen. But this is not the time or the place to be going back over past performances that are best left buried.

We expect to see nothing but a solid, comfortable performance from Stoke and then look forward to another home game against either Barnsley or Walsall.

Positive attitude essential! Up the Potters!
