Stoke City have revealed that Paul Gallagher limped into training today after being substituted at half time in the game the against Preston on Saturday and has been sent for a scan to find out the extent of a possible knee injury.

Stoke will not appeal against Darel Russell‘s sending off in the same match and he will now face a three match ban. He will miss the next two League games against Cardiff and Plymouth and the FA 5th round tie against either Reading or Birmingham City.

Dave Brammer (groin) and Kevin Harper (dislocated shoulder) are also definitely out for the trip to South Wales at the weekend.

No news yet as to the whereabouts of Sam Bangoura now that Guinea are out of the African Cup of Nations.
Hopefully he will manage to appear before the weekend as we are desperate to have him back in the starting line-up.
