Aaron Lennon has chosen to join Everton on loan after turning down a move to Stoke City.
Lennon supposedly said the reason he chose Everton was to get regular 1st team foitball, which is a compliment to Stoke, because that is basically saying that he wouldn’t get in this current Stoke squad.
For me, it shows that Tottenham see Stoke as more of a threat to them than Everton. I suppose league tables don’t lie though as Stoke currently sit 6 points above Everton in the Premier league.
So no signings at all on deadline day but why fix something when it isn’t broke. The squad Stoke currently is strong and doing well.
