Hereford have said that they intend to ask Stoke if they can keep on-loan midfielder, John Eustace for a further term.

Eustace, who has been recovering from a long term injury was sent out to the League 2 club to regain his fitness and the current loan period is due to expire next week.

He seems to have impressed the Bulls’ manager, Graham Turner and he is hoping that the Potters will agree to a further loan extension.

Stoke fans have been looking forward to the return of a fully fit Eustace, who has not had a first team place since being injured over eighteen months ago.

The worry is, if he came back now, that he would struggle to get back into the current squad and with the promise of more new signings in January may have missed his chance of ever pulling on a Stoke shirt again.
