The 27-year-old only arrived at the Potters back in the January window as he made a £14million switch from Turkish side Galatasaray and in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign that unfortunately ended with our relegation to the Championship, he made 13 Premier League appearances with a return of two goals.
With relegation confirmed, Badou was one of many who fans expected to be off for the top-flight dream and Stoke’s task is very simple – sell at the highest price and make a quick turnaround on profit.
Leicester City and Arsenal have been linked in the speculation, but it appears Wolves might be in pole position if there is any truth to the news.
For many Stoke supporters, the talk of £22million is certainly in the right ballpark for a quick deal to be done but some did wonder if we could up the price and give Wolves a 2 for 1 deal that also included Mame Biram Diouf given they are both on international duty at the World Cup for Senegal.
Others hoped that he stayed and played his part in getting us back to the Premier League next season.
Didn’t make the Senegal team today, Diouf did though. They can have Diouf for £25m as well.

I see that as good business now we have Etebo and Allen. Badou is a good player and the deal should suit every party
