Davies is back at Stoke

Andrew Davies has returned early from his loan spell at Preston North End after suffering another injury.

Davies has had a injury hit start to his Potters career since joining from Southampton at the start of the season. He’s only made two appearances from the bench and his loan to the Lilywhites should have been the springboard to full fitness. He did manage five starts at Deepdale but suffered a hamstring injury with just one game remaining before his loan expired.

He’s now back at Stoke but was doing light training this morning with the Potters’ physio, Dave Watson.
