Stoke City followed their 2-0 win over Newcastle Town on Sunday with another 2-0 win over Chester City on Tuesday night. Second-half strikes from Icelander Hannes Sigurdsson and Finnish winger Peter Kopteff ensured City kept their 100% pre-season record intact.
The game saw another run out for 34 year old striker Nathan Blake, however the Welshman limped off and was replaced by Mama Sidibe after only 20 minutes of the first-half.
Scottish winger Kevin Harper started his first game since February and will be hoping, like John Eustace, to gain match fitness and challenge for a first team spot.

Teams: Simonsen, Hoefkens, Duberry, Hill, Buxton (Wilkinson 54), Chadwick (Henry 54), Brammer (Pulis 54), Russell, Harper (Kopteff 54), Blake (Sidibe 20), Sigurdsson (Rooney 74).
