Tony Pulis has told Chelsea that keeper Asmir Begovic is not going anywhere this window after the Champions enquired about the Bosnian.

Begovic only signed in Januray from Portsmouth but hasn`t had the impact he would have liked as he has played second fiddle to Thomas Sorensen. However, clearly one for the future, Chelsea have expressed their interest as they look for back-up to Petr Cech.

Pulis told the Sentinel “They have enquired but they have been told he is not for sale. “We are trying to bring players in, not let our better players go”.

This comes as good news considering Begovic is a fine young player who will really make an impression at the club in the near future.
