Stoke City have signed Wolves’ defender, Jody Craddock on a one month loan and will go straight into the squad to face Charlton this afternoon.

The 32 year old will be at the Brit until next month, but the likely outcome is that the loan will be extended until January. He will not be allowed to play against Wolves when we play them at home on September 1st.

This is a definite sign that Pulis still has worries about the experience of the Potters’ back row, as he has only been able to bring in two youngsters so far – Ryan Shawcross and new permanent signing, Richie de Laet.

With the initial loan only for a month, it must be hoped that Pulis still has some irons in the fire and can bring in more cover before the end of the transfer window on 31st August.
