Stoke City have released details of the new season ticket prices and they’ve held prices at last year’s level.

The 20,000 fans who bought tickets last year will be pleased that there has been no increase which will mean that an adult ticket in the Boothen End will still be £344 for sales up to April 3rd.

If you’re under 11 there is even a cost reduction in the Family Stand. U11 season tickets in that area can be bought for just £38.

One change is that certain seats have now been designated ‘Premium seats’. These apply to those seats in blocks 3, 4, 7 in the West Stand Upper, most seats in blocks 12 to 16 in the Lower section and blocks 29 to 31 in the Seddon Stand. Prices in these seats are £20 higher than standard seats but the good news is that the higher charges do not apply to season ticket holders who already have a seat in those areas.

The only question then remaining is ‘will the Potters stay up?’ and there is no doubt that our fate lies in our hands. With home games against fellow strugglers, Middlesbrough, Blackburn and Newcastle yet to come and an away match against bottom club, West Brom there are definitely points there to be gained with most pundits reckoning that it will take 40 points to ensure survival.
