Stoke are gearing up for yet another important game with the visit to the KC Stadium on Saturday.

Hull fell victim to yet another defeat on Monday with a 1-0 defeat at Villa. The Potters will be smarting after their 1-0 defeat at home to West Ham but the players are determined to make amends for only their fourth defeat at the Brit this season with a win against the Tigers.

A win on Saturday would guarantee Premier League action again next season with two more games to spare and both Rory Delap and Abdoulaye Faye have both confirmed this week that the players are prepared and ready for one last push.

But there’s no doubt that Hull City will also be champing at the bit to get their hands on three points of their own.

The Tigers’ fall down the League since Christmas has been nearly as spectacular as their rise up was in the first half of the season. Their only win so far this year came at Fulham on March 4th and, by all accounts, the 93rd minute goal was well against the run of play.

Phil Brown was at the Brit on Saturday preferring, no doubt, that the Potters had beaten the Hammers, with the hope that this would take the edge of our performance next week.
