Stoke: No panic over Fuller

After Ricardo Fuller’s early departure from the game at Sunderland when he dislocated his shoulder, it now seems that the injury lay-off will not be as bad as first feared.

Amid early reports that he could be missing for the remainder of the season, he visited a specialist yesterday and the news is better than expected.

Even so, it looks as though he’ll be out of action for up to six weeks and it’s fortunate that we’ve just recruited Beattie and Camara to bolster the existing strike force of Kitson, Cresswell and Pericard with Mamady Sidibe still to make a return from the injury he sustained in the home match against Fulham last year.
