Mark Hughes has made seven changes to Stoke`s side that lost 3-1 at the Emirates to Arsenal this evening for the Capital One Cup clash with Tranmere Rovers.

Hughes has brought in fringe players Thomas Sorensen, Marc Muniesa, Jermaine Pennant, Stephen Ireland, Wilson Palacios and Peter Crouch for Stoke`s trip to Prenton Park to face Tranmere Rovers.

Charlie Adam, Kenwyne Jones and Jonathan Walters have dropped to the bench, whilst Asmir Begovic, Eric Pieters, Marc Wilson and Steven N`Zonzi miss out altogether.

Jack Butland, Oussama Assaidi and Andy Wilkinson fill the vacant positions on the Potters bench.

Starting Eleven: Sorensen, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Muniesa, Pennant, Ireland, Palacios, Whelan, Arnautovic, Crouch

Substitutes: Butland, Jones, Adam, Walters, Assaidi, Etherington, Wilkinson
