Stoke Fans Walking Taller!

Gabby Zakuani says Stoke’s promotion is just starting to sink in as he speaks of the celebrations that have got the city buzzing.

‘It’s just starting to sink in that Stoke have been promoted to the Premiership. The whole town is buzzing and all the club shops are selling out of shirts. It’s just fantastic.

‘You see everyone in the streets wearing the club colours and everybody seems to be walking a bit taller than usual.

‘We had a few stutters, but luckily so did everybody else. There seemed to be a time when nobody seemed to want to win it and everyone around us was dropping points.

‘We had a good old celebration and for three days in a row most of the lads woke up not knowing where they were.’
