Stoke City have officially parted company with Tony Pulis.

After hours of speculation the club have released a short statement.

The statement said:

“Stoke City and Tony Pulis confirm that they have mutually agreed Tony will leave the club with immediate effect.”

Stoke will now be looking for a new manager with immediate effect.

Early frontrunners for the job are former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo, former Manchester City boss Mark Hughes and current favourite is former Champions League winner Rafa Benitez.
