The FA have announced today that QPR will face charges of ‘failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from threatening and/or provocative behaviour’ after the game at the Brit in December.

Jake Cole, QPR’s sub keeper, has also been charged with violent conduct for his part in the incident.

The flare up started at the end of the game, in which Stoke lost 2-1, when a so-called Stoke ‘fan’ ran onto the pitch and attacked the QPR keeper, Simon Royce. The entire Stoke and QPR benches ran over to assist, but the trouble then appeared to escalate.

All the parties involved have until 25th January to respond.
