Tony Pulis is still in the hunt for new players as the pre-season enters it’s final few days.

The Mirror is reporting that the Potters are casting another eye at League One side, Leeds United and having a look at midfielder Eddie Lewis.

The 33 year old American has played 91 times for the Whites in the last two seasons after several years at Preston. He will be well known by both Ricardo Fuller, who played with him at Deepdale and new Potters’ signing, Richard Cresswell, who played with him at both Deepdale and Elland Road.

With his contract up in the next year, this could be a good opportunity to sign him up with the offer of Championship football, before Leeds start their League 1 season with a relegation threatening 15 point deduction which could (appeal permitting) see them looking at League 2 next year.

Meanwhile, TP does not seem to have given up on Jon Fortune. The Charlton defender had been given permission to talk to the Potters about a permanent move, but quickly decided that the money on offer was not worth the move out of London. Apparently, he has said that he would be interested in another loan move and that is the area that the Potters are now discussing, but whether that would fit the Addicks’ plans remains to be seen.
