Potters need to look forward

Stoke must put their recent dismal form, culminating in another 3-0 thrashing against Cardiff City at the weekend, behind them and get back to winning ways.

Tuesday night sees the Potters at home to Tony Pulis who is making his first visit with his new club, Plymouth Argyle, since his sacking just before the start of this season.

Whilst Potters fans will doubtless give him a warm welcome before the game, Stoke need to make sure the welcome after that is anything but and get back into winning ways with a resounding win.

Sam Bangoura, after finally returning to the Britannia Stadium with some well publicised four letter words from his manager still ringing in his ears and a two week fine for returning from Egypt a week late, will hopefully be repaying the club and fans with a goal or two.

Luke Chadwick, after struggling with a hamstring injury, should be back in the side. Darel Russell is still suspended, Paul Gallagher is still definitely out with a knee injury but Hannes Sigurdsson could make a return if he has recovered from a groin problem.
