Martin Paterson has signed a one year contract to stay at the Britannia.

Paterson was offered his first professional contract towards the end of last season, but had reportedly resisted whilst looking around for further options. This was said to have upset Johan Boskamp (never something to do!) and he overlooked him for a couple of games.

Obviously those options never materialised and he has now fallen in line to put his signature on the dotted line. He joins other Academy trained youngsters, Carl Dickinson, Rob Garrett, Rob Duggan, Keith Thomas and Matthew Hazley in all agreeing one year contracts.
