Parkin to join Preston

Jon ‘The Beast’ Parkin is joining Preston in a £500,000 deal claims The Sentinel.

The former Hull player joined Stoke a year ago in a £300,000 deal after a short but successful loan spell the season before, but never came up to Tony Pulis’ exacting fitness levels and found any opportunities other than as a late substitute ‘impact’ player hard to come by.
