Frenchman Steven N`Zonzi has won the Vital Stoke man of the match award for his performance in only Stoke`s second home league victory of the season against Sunderland.
The midfielder scored only his second goal for the Potters whilst setting up the opener for Charlie Adam in the Potters 2-0 victory.
N`Zonzi played in a more advanced role than normal in the absence of Stephen Ireland and thirved, as he was a constant thorn in Sunderland`s defence.
The 24-year-old won with 33% of the poll vote, beating fellow midfielder Glenn Whelan (22%) and second half substitute Wilson Palacios (22%) to the award.
