Jamie Ness has moved to League One high-flyers Leyton Orient on a 28-day loan deal.

The Scottish midfielder, who has yet to make his Premier League bow for the Potters since joining the club in the summer of 2012 has only made one appearance for the club, that being in Stoke`s league cup defeat to Swindon last term.

The former Rangers player who can play on the left wing or in the middle of the park will move to Russell Slade`s side in search of first team football, and is available for the Brisbane Road outfit`s F.A. Cup encounter with struggling Sky Championship side Yeovil on Saturday. (4th January 2014)

The 22-year-old joins fellow Stoke players Michael Kightly (Burnley), Cameron Jerome (Crystal Palace) and Brek Shea (Barnsley) out on loan away from the Britannia Stadium.
