Stoke City believe that both Karl Henry and Martin Paterson could be leaving the club.

Chief Executive, Tony Scholes has said that both players have not yet agreed to the new contracts that the club have offered them. Scholes also revealed that Henry has attracted interest from Yeovil Town and Queens Park Rangers although the club has rejected both offers.

Neither player qualifies for a Bosman, so the Potters would be looking for compensation should they leave for another club.

The younger players on the fringes of the first team will be watching nervously to see if the new manager, Tony Pulis, is going to give them a chance this time around. During his last tenure, he failed to give many opportunities to the youngsters, whilst in contrast, Johan Boskamp gave them all a decent run out in the closing games of last season.
