The problems still rumble on for the Potters in the wake of that defeat at Stamford Bridge with the news of more leaks from the dressing room.

pparatnely, there was a bust-up at half-time between Glenn Whelan and Abdoulaye Faye and Tony Pulis is again appealing for those doing the leaking to stop.

TP regards the dressing room as somewhere where issues can be aired without any worry that they’ll get out into the public domain. But for the second time this season, the Potters’ dressing room woes have found their way into the media and it’s a fair bet that the Stoke boss has a good idea who’s responsible.

He’s issued a statement on the official site tonight and hopes that Saturday’s sell-out match against Everton will be the opportunity for the team to show fans that they can put the trials and tribulations behind them.

If, as Pulis thinks, there are a couple of dissatisfied players who are hell-bent on causing disruption, then it’s to be hoped that they can be weeded out during the summer and sent on their way.

It’s never good to see fans booing their own players such as when Tuncay stormed off down the tunnel during the Bolton match and it’s very likely Kitson would have suffered a similar fate if his weekend bout of petulance had taken place at the Brit. But fans know that no player is bigger than the club we support and if they can’t be part of the team then it’s time they found somewhere else.
