Boskamp Still Set To Go

Johan Boskamp is still determined to see through his threat to resign at the end of his contact in June even though both of his protagonists, John Rudge and Jan de Koning, have apologised over the touchline incident at Coventry last November.

He told BBC Radio Stoke that his ?they go or I go? ultimatum still stands but he still would like to see at least five years with the club if his demands that the pair are sacked are met.

Whilst we admire his principles, there comes a time when he really should put this matter behind him and move on. But we have to accept that if, as it seems, he can?t, then there can be no alternative but to see the Bos walk in the summer.

As a result, it looks like not many new faces will appear in the January transfer window as no European players will want to commit themselves to a club with a short term Manager.

Interestingly, John Rudge has gone on the record this week, taking the credit for both bringing Luke Chadwick on loan and having now signed him on a two and half year deal.

Looks like both sides are positioning themselves for a final showdown?
