Stoke city forward Bojan has committed his long term future to the potters after putting pen to paper on a new four and half year contract. Stoke fans will be happy to know that he will remain at Stoke until the summer of 2020.

Bojan had this to say.

‘Stoke city gave me the opportunity to play in the most competitive league in the world, the premier league, I have only words of gratitude for their trust and for the way they have treated me since the first day I arrived’

‘Mark Hughes convinced to come to Stoke, he has helped me and shown his trust in me from the beginning, he followed closely the recovery process from my injury, and there is no doubt I have signed an extension of my contract thanks to him.’

The 25 year old joined the potters from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and has since then become a popular figure amongst all Stoke fans alike.

Bojan also declared that his relationship with the fans was also a big factor on signing the new contract. He said “they always support me on the pitch, when I was injured and every time I leave the stadium”

“They are passionate and I can proudly say that my team mates and I feel their warmth and their support every day. That is very important for me and encourages me to keep improving and trying to give my best”
