Abdoulaye Faye has been granted a new work permit after his move from Newcastle United.
Faye signed along with his Senegalese compatriot and namesake, Amdy Faye last week, but as Abdoulaye only had a Senegalese passport the Potters had to get a new work permit before any deal could be completed. This was further complicated by recent injuries that had prevented him from completing the required number of internationals for an automatic renewal of the necessary paperwork.
He should go straight into the starting eleven that will face Aston Villa at the Brit tomorrow.
