On Friday evening, Stoke City announced that Julien Ngoy has signed a new long term deal at the club.

The 19 year old Belgian Under 21 winger has been at Stoke since 2013, making six substitute appearances – five being in the Premier League – and he’s now penned terms on a five year deal that will expire in 2022.

Speaking to the Official Website as the news was announced, chief executive Tony Scholes explained.

‘Julien is an exciting young talent who has made excellent progress in the last couple of years and he`s fully deserving of a new long-term deal. It`s pleasing that another of our up-and-coming players has decided to pledge his future to the Club.’
