Young striker George Waring will continue his development out at Carlisle United in the second half of the 2016/17 campaign.

The 22 year old striker has spent the first half of the campaign out with Shrewsbury Town where he made six starting appearances with a further 13 from the substitutes bench.

He will now spend the remaining four months of the season out at Brunton Park and with no goals at the Greenhous Meadow, he’ll be looking to take his Under 23 form with him as since he returned he’s scored five times in his last three outings.

He could debut for Keith Curle’s side when they face Leyton Orient this weekend and look to keep their promotion hopes going.
