Stoke City have long been linked with Aston Villa centre-half James Chester.
Stoke closing in on James Chester.

It was reported a few days back that Stoke had launched a £5million bid as we tested the waters for the Welsh international and why wouldn’t we given their financial problems – they wouldn’t feel sorry for us if roles were reversed.
Their skipper, until the arrival of John Terry last season, would be a massive loss so it was no surprise that our opening gambit was rejected as they reportedly hold out for in the region of £10million. Even at that price, I think he’d be a bargain.
The James McClean links and West Bromwich Albion resurfaced yesterday as well after a period of quiet in the press, and we are now being linked with Huddersfield Town winger Tom Ince.
I’m not sold on McClean, he’s a workhorse but has little end product and his tendency to be in the news for other reasons doesn’t warm my heart. He was also happy to play silly beggers at West Brom, so what happens if we don’t go up this year, will he act up again?
Tom Ince is music to the ears though.
I agree

If we get them three and amarty, our TW has been decent imo

Still think imbula could come good if given the chance

Exactly

Tom Ince will be very good in the championship but can't help feeling 10mil is too much. He's worth about half that in current market. Should have been a straight swap for Ramadan
