Whilst most eyes were on the Spain v England international tie on Monday evening, Stoke City’s Under 23s were in action against Peterborough in the Premier League Cup competition.

We secured a 3-2 victory (much like England actually) on the night and 18-year-old striker Tyrese Campbell was the star of the show as he hit a hattrick at Harrison Park.
The youngster is very highly-rated at the club and he already has five substitute appearances to his name as he received his introduction into life in our first team last season, but we have only seen him once under new manager Gary Rowett and that was in the EFL Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest at the end of September.
Given his hattrick this week, fans on social media have sent out a strong call for him to be considered again in the near future, if not for his full club debut, at least the opportunity for 20 minutes more often at the end of matches.
I like @TyeKaiCampbell come on mate keep it up ????
