The New Year’s Day match against Burnley at Turf Moor has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

In related news, former Potter, Ade Akinbiyi has rejoined Burnley from Sheffield United in a £750,000 deal, although the fee could rise to £1.125m. He only left Turf Moor last January for £1.75m – not a bad piece of business for the Clarets….
