Stoke City have eight players out on international duty this month.

With international breaks coming almost as regularly as normal fixtures, November’s break is now upon us and our international calls don’t end with Jack Butland with England and Joe Allen with Wales.

Xherdan Shaqiri is with Switzerland for their World Cup play off double header with Northern Ireland – victory over both legs would see the Swiss make their fourth successive finals.

Butland is with England for games against Germany and Brazil and he’ll be hoping to earn his seventh cap.

Ramadan Sobhi is back with Egypt for their final World Cup qualifier against Ghana but they have already secured their passage through to Russia.

Kevin Wimmer returns to the Austria squad for the first time in a year as they take on Uruguay.

Joe Allen is with Wales for games against France and Panama.

We also have four youth players in action.

Julien Ngoy is back with the Belgian U21s after missing the last round of fixture with injury. They face Cyprus and Turkey in European Championship qualifiers.

Josh Tymon is with England U19s as he goes in search of his first cap at that level as they defend their European Championship crown with games against Faroe Island, Iceland and Bulgaria.

Thibaud Verlinden is with Belgian U19s in the same competition as they face Liechenstein, Macedonia and Switzerland.

At Academy level, Luis Da Silva and Lasse Sorensen have also received call ups.

Da Silva is with Portugal’s U20s as they face Poland and Sorensen is travelling with Denmark’s U19s for their European Championship ties against Latvia, San Marino and Croatia.
