Stoke saw results go their way at the weekend with defeats for West Brom and Bristol City and so we have yet another chance to regain top spot if we can beat Palace (or draw) at home tonight in front on the TV cameras. Not an easy match as the Eagles are flying well at the moment and can break into the play-off zone with a victory.

Vital Quotes:

Stoke City Team News:

No suspensions for a change as both Fuller and Shawcross are available again and only Salif Diao and Leon Cort seem doubtful. Mamady Sidibe could play after struggling with injury, but Tony Pulis now has other options up front with Fuller, Ameobi and Bothroyd all available.

Player to watch: Shola Ameobi

If the Newcastle loanee striker is costing as much as has been reported, then we need him on the field and scoring goals in yet another must-win game.

Crystal Palace Team News:

Neil Warnock is playing ‘the game’ as ever by giving little away to the media and opposition alike. James Scowcroft is a case in point as he is hopes that he will be fit for the match after he suffered a hamstring strain in their goalless draw against Blackpool last week.

Player to watch: Clint Hill

The former popular Potter will be returning to the Brit for the first time since leaving last year and is sure of a good reception. Warnock has made it clear that he’s the first name on the team sheet even although he suffered an injury that meant he missed the Blackpool game.

Match Facts & Stats

Ref Watch:

With another high profile match we’ve being given yet another so-called Premier League referee. This time Mark Clattenburg is in charge, so let’s hope that he does not emulate his last outing when he gave eight yellows and one red in the match between Reading and Blackburn.

Next Fixtures:

Saturday 12th April: Coventry City (away) kick-off: 3pm
