Stoke`s opening Premier league fixture against Chelsea will be shown live in front of the cameras after BskyB and ESPN announced the games they will be broadcasting for the coming season earlier this morning.

The Potters will now face last year`s runners-up on Sunday, August 14th at 1:30pm as opposed to the original kick off time of 3:00pm a day earlier.

Sky viewers will be in for a treat if last year’s game at the Britannia is anything to go by, Stoke put in a superb performance and we’re very unlucky to come away with just a 1-1 draw as Didier Drogba cancelled out Jon Walters’ sublime solo effort.

Stoke`s TV fixtures up until the end of November are as follows :

Sky Sports

Chelsea(H)14th August,1:30pm.

Newcastle(H)31st October,8:00pm.

Blackburn(H)28th November,8:00pm.

ESPN

Man United(H) 24th September, 4:45pm.

So, we have four TV fixtures all at home! We probably would have preferred a couple of away games but everyone at Stoke will only see it as another opportunity to show the world what we’re all about at home!
