Stoke trio on international duty

While the Stoke squad are exercising with the Marines this week, three players will be away on international duty.

Carl Hoefkens, Ricardo Fuller and Mamady Sidibe have all been called up for their countries this week with international fixtures all planned for next weekend.

Hoefkens will be in the Belgium squad to face both Serbia and Azerbaijan in the Euro 2008 qualifiers, Fuller is off back to Jamaica to play in a friendly against Canada whilst Sidibe will be playing for Mali against Togo in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.
