Stoke trial Polish international

Sky Sports are reporting that the Potters are running a rule over Polish international, Marcin Wasilewski.

According to the player’s club, Lech Poznan, the defender will spend this week in the Potteries whilst Tony Pulis assesses him.

Coincidentally, he played against Carl Hoefkens in last week’s Euro 2008 qualifying match in Brussels. Poland beat Belgium 1-0.
